Hi, I'm Yuki Mochizuki.
I turn ambiguity into action — bridging cultures, teams, and ideas to make things happen.

Having spent 18 years in the US, I bring a cross-cultural perspective to project management — from budget negotiation and vendor coordination to team operations and stakeholder alignment. I make complex things run smoothly.

FEATURED WORK

Project Management,
Event Coordination

Beyond Borders LA

Led end-to-end project management for a multi-day entrepreneurship immersive in Los Angeles — coordinating vendors, negotiating budgets, and moderating live sessions with world-class speakers. A project that challenged me, stretched me, and proved that ambiguity is where I do my best work.

Project & Content Management

ZERO → X

Managed the full operational backbone of a 12-week online program — while also being in the room. Co-hosted weekly recordings as assistant MC, redesigned the content delivery workflow, and kept a 270-member Discord community moving.

I'm a bilingual project manager with 18 years of experience living and working in the United States. Born in Hawaii and raised in Japan, I've always carried multiple worlds inside me — and I've learned to make that an advantage.

With a background in both design and business, I specialize in bridging the two: turning abstract ideas into practical plans, bringing clarity to complexity, and making cross-cultural projects move forward.

My background spans event operations, content program management, and design project management — always in environments where the playbook didn't exist yet.

My ultimate goal is simple — make the end user happy. And the best way to get there is to help the team work with less stress and more clarity. That's where I come in.

I thrive in ambiguity, turn things into action, and get things done.

"Yuki joined as a part-time coordinator and ended the project as a highly proficient project leader —
even co-hosting our speaker events as a session moderator.
Any team would be lucky to have Yuki. I recommend her without hesitation."

Jeremy

"Her collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and visual communication talents make her an invaluable teammate. I'd work with her again in a heartbeat!"
